Inspecting marine coatings with underwater drones

We recently visited Jotun Marine Coatings in Dubai where we met Lucian Tenchiu, their local Technical Service Manager. Lucian has had the chance to use the Blueye Pioneer underwater drone for several months now, as a part of our Trial Program.

Jotun Marine Coatings is a world leading provider of marine coatings to e.g. different vessels, both large yachts, cargo ships and commercial vessels like Hurtigruten. In Dubai, we recently met up with Lucian Tenchiu, a Technical Service Manager working for Jotun the last 15 years.

As a part of our Trial Program, Lucian has had a Blueye Pioneer underwater drone with him in Dubai the last few months. Lucian has utilized the Blueye Pioneer to inspect different vessels in Dubai and the state of their coating.
