Q&A Summary From Webinar 10/09

How often is the average frequency of updating? And what are the main motivation for updating?

Live answer from webinar speaker:

Great question! We update basically every two months or so. It depends a bit on what kind of projects we are working on and if it's a major update or a smaller one. Our previous launch was the Blueye app 2.0, which was a large update, and now in September, we are launching 2.1. So it's approx around 10 software updates annually.

The main motivation is to create the best inspection tool for our current and future customers. We are always looking at usability, ease-of-use, and bringing up new features that can be deployed. Like examples shared in this webinar or using our "Buddy" app(edit: Now "Observer"), which enables you to connect another device to the inspection so that you can have one person controlling the drone and the other person watching the stream. That's the motivation, to put it very simply - To get the best unit out there.
