Introducing station keeping for ROV operations using a DVL
Underwater ROVs are manned and connected to the surface with a cable, but it's still hard to locate where the ROV is when you're diving out of sight.
To help maneuver, navigate and determine the ROV's position underwater, we have now integrated the WaterLinked DVL A50 with the Blueye X3!
In this digital event, we will present the new features this solution offers, such as station keeping, auto altitude, and post-processing of the acquired positioning data. You'll learn more about what a DVL is, how it works, and why it's an essential sensor for underwater robotics. We will also mention the new integration of the Ping Sonar Altimeter and Echosounder from Blue Robotics.

Measuring metal thickness underwater using ROVs
By integrating the Cygnus Thickness Gauge into the Blueye X3, we take underwater and in-water inspections to a new level. Inspecting ship hulls, pipes, tanks, and other assets are often conducted by divers and large ROVs. These methods require extensive planning, are costly, and take time to complete. Blueye ROVs is a smaller, more cost-effective, and more easily deployable solution.
A Blueye X3 outfitted with a Cygnus Thickness Gauge reduces the complex logistics involved with carrying out an in-water inspection. In this webinar, we will go through the integration, how it can be used, and see what makes our solution unique!

Digital event: Do more with grippers on a Blueye X3
At Blueye, we design and develop our ROVs with customers in mind. This June, we launched our third model, the Blueye X3 - an ROV with endless possibilities, with 3 Guest Ports enabling integration of different external equipment.
Grippers are one such external equipment we integrated as requested by our customers. After a successful digital launch earlier this year, we are back with another event where our team will discuss the mechanical integration of the two gripper solutions we offer. James Spinks from Blueprint lab, the Reach Alpha two-axis gripper manufacturer, will also be joining us for the event.
