Work smarter with use of underwater ROVs
Net inspection
Inspect the fish cage regularly for holes or damage to prevent fish escapes. The ROV can reach all the areas in the cage making it easy to discover if the net needs to be repaired, washed or demands maintenance.
Retrieve objects using a gripper
A gripper arm on the ROV enable you to pick up items from the seabed or remove unwanted objects in the cage. Drag ropes and lines, or attach hooks.

According to the Directorate of Fisheries, fish escapes are often caused by handling of dead fish hoofs, ropes, nets and other underwater equipment that cause holes and damage in the net. With regular underwater inspections and an extra eye underwater during operations in the cage, Egil Kristoffersen and Sønner are able to detect deviations before potential major damage occurs.

The Blueye X1 ROV package
Ask for a quote for a X1 ROV package. Based on feedback from our users we recommend professional customers to include their Blueye X1 order with an aluminum Zarges case, reel with 150 meter tether, Blueye High Capacity battery and xbox controller. However, you are free to equip you ROV as you see fit for your usecase. We offer equipment from a wide range of suppliers, and other necessary ROV parts such as tethers come in different lengths.
The Blueye X1 ROV can be equipped with a gripper (with Quick Connect) and you can customise the tether length. Get in touch with us to help you with a customized package that suits your needs.
