Outland MP-200 Two-Function Manipulator

The Outland MP-200 is a rugged, all-electric two-function ROV manipulator that grips and rotates. Rated to 600 m and built with quick-change jaws, it extends the capability of the Blueye X7 to recover lost objects, attach recovery lines, place instruments on the seabed and cut ropes and cables. Jaws are sold separately.

A 700 lb (317 kg) linear actuator delivers 70 lb (32 kg) of grab force with the standard jaws and 390 lb (136 kg) of cutting force with the MPH-204 cutter, in a tool rated to 600 m.

Outland MPH-204 Cutter Jaws

Cutter jaws for the Outland MP-200 manipulator. Engineered for strength and durability, the MPH-204 delivers 136 kg (390 lb) of cutting force and slices through most ropes and cables. The hardened steel blades are replaceable, and the jaws swap onto the MP-200 in the field with the quick-change coupling.

Outland MPH-202 Small Interlocking Jaws

The standard jaws for the Outland MP-200 manipulator. Compact yet strong, the MPH-202 small interlocking jaws deliver 32 kg (70 lb) of grabbing force at the centre of the jaw and open to 89 mm (3.5 in), for secure and precise handling of objects underwater. They mount on the MP-200 in the field with the quick-change coupling.

Quick-change jaw options

Jaws are sold separately. The MP-200 uses a quick-change coupling, so jaws can be swapped in the field with a Phillips screwdriver. Blueye offers the MPH-202 small interlocking jaws as the standard choice and the MPH-204 cutter jaws for cutting rope and cable. Outland also makes trident, search-and-recovery and parallel jaws for the MP-200. Get in touch if you need a different jaw for your mission.
