Blueye Drone Payload
DVL A100
Compact high accuracy Doppler Velocity Log (DVL) designed to deliver precise velocity measurements in a lightweight, integration-friendly package. The 1,000 meter depth rated A100 provides reliable bottom-track performance with an acoustic range of up to 100 meters, making it ideal for close-range and mid-range underwater operations.
Water Linked
Station Keeping and Dead Reckoning position
With velocity measurements, it is possible to lock the position of the vehicle with a new control mode called station keeping. This mode simplifies inspections and monitoring even further by keeping the ROV locked in one position using the sea bottom as a reference. Simply push a couple of buttons on the controller and the ROV keeps the chosen position without constant input on the controller.
Since we integrate all external equipment with our Blueye Smart Connectors, the Blueye App will instantly recognize the DVL input and start the necessary programs for you to get started. There is no need for you to do any configuration yourself.
The A100 also provides a dead reckoning position that can be used for navigation on a map.

Mapping of more extensive areas.
Inspections of larger or longer structures to hold a fixed position from the object.
Situations where you really need to concentrate on what you see on the screen.
Strong current and challenging environment.
In general, helping the ROV pilot understand where the vehicle is located at all times.
