Expand the cruise trip with underwater drones
Traveling on vacation is very exciting when you get to experience something completely new and learn about unknown places with their history and culture. Aboard the Hurtigruten expedition ships and the Brim Explorer catamaran, one can travel along the Norwegian coastline, but also to the Arctic, Antarctic or the Amazon; places where one can see wild wildlife and beautiful untouched nature!
Both Hurtigruten and Brim Explorer offer their guests underwater experiences with the Blueye Pioneer on their ships. Brim Explorer has developed an electric catamaran that aims to offer a quiet and environmentally friendly experience along the Norwegian coast. Hurtigruten has Blueye underwater drones on several of their expedition ships with routes through the Antarctic, the Northwest Passage and the Arctic, among others.

Share the experience with other travelers
In addition to the application that controls the drone, participating guests can easily download the Blueye Dive Buddy application to their smartphone or tablet and join the dive. With a livestream setup, there is also a possibly to send live videostream to the rest of the boat's guests on a larger screen.
Simple transferring of media files after a dive
The recording function of the drone enables guests to preserve the memories from the sea. Once the dive is complete, the media files can easily be transferred to a smartphone, tablet or PC with the Blueye app or the Blueye File Transfer.
